The Nova Scotia Lifeguard Service supervises 24 beaches around the province during the summer months starting July 1st through until the end of August. Lifeguards are on the beach 10am-6pm daily throughout the summer. The red and yellow flags designate the water where our Lifeguards are actively supervising. Make sure you swim between the flags!
